Beyond the Game: Las Vegas 2026June 4–7, 2026Hosted by Alofa Foundation in partnership with BYU Careers & Experiential Learning

The Beyond the Game Leadership Experience is a four-day professional development program created specifically for collegiate student-athletes preparing for life after sports.

This experience was developed to help participants identify how the skills acquired through athletics can be translated into long-term professional success. Through workplace exposure, executive networking, career exploration, leadership training, and community service, students will gain practical insight into the opportunities available after graduation.

Community Service Initiative

Service is Part of Success

One of the most important components of the Beyond the Game experience is community engagement.

Participants will join Alofa Foundation volunteers in a large-scale service initiative supporting individuals experiencing homelessness throughout the Las Vegas community.

This project reinforces the belief that leadership extends beyond personal achievement and includes a responsibility to uplift and serve others.

Faith & Reflection

The weekend concludes with worship, fellowship, reflection, and a traditional gathering, allowing participants to celebrate their experience together while reflecting on the lessons learned throughout the program.

Students will depart with new connections, expanded career perspectives, and a deeper understanding that their future opportunities extend far beyond athletics.
